Wrapping up 493 Days Project
The project “493 Days, A Story of Women’s Resilience” aimed to document the experiences of females during Covid-19 pandemic. Using the mediums of photography and videography to document the challenges and experiences these women had during this period for future generations. The focus was on the positives that came from the period for these women and to show that there are opportunities to be had even in the darkest of times.
The initial exhibition in November 2021 was very popular, and we have produced a short follow-up film featuring the 14 women who took part sharing what their lives are like a year from participating in the project.
